"The scope of your learning…will be unlimited and enhanced by leaps and bounds as you use this wonderful tool.” from the Foreword by Walter C. Kaiser, Jr

New discoveries are constantly being made as archaeologists work to uncover the ancient history of the Bible lands to tell a more complete story of the people, customs, geography, and events of that era. Archaeologist Steven Collins (senior archaeologist of Tall el-Hammam/Sodom excavation) and Bible scholar Joseph M. Holden (President, Veritas International University) have spent decades making and researching those discoveries and now offer a wealth of information based on the latest findings.

This exciting addition to The Harvest HandbookTM series provides a textual and visual bird’s-eye view of ancient Near Eastern biblical geography, history, and chronology. Anyone looking for an accurate, readable, and usable resource to further their study of God’s Word will discover in The Harvest HandbookTM of Bible Lands a valuable backdrop for biblical narratives and literature.

With the most up-to-date information from biblical and archaeological disciplines, you will find your knowledge greatly enriched through well-written narrative-style text, numerous maps, and instructive photographs, drawings, and diagrams. The Harvest Handbook™ of Science and Faith

Joseph M. Holden, William Dembski, & Casey Luskin  - General Editors

                                                      Harvest House Publishers

                                                         (Coming January 2021)

The Harvest Handbook of Science & Faith (HHSF) will be a popular handbook answering the most basic questions centering on the relationship between science and faith, especially those topics that greatly impact the crucial doctrines of the Christianity.

This work is best described by its readability and use-ability. It will be a scientifically accurate collection of essays written by well-known scientists, scholars, and apologists who are experts in the fields of science and scientific apologetics. It will take advantage of the most up-to-date information from four primary areas: 1) Understanding the relationship between science and faith, 2) Intelligent Design, 3) Evolution, and 4) Hard Questions on Science and Faith. The chapter titles contained in each section will be framed as a series of questions that directly tackle key issues related to science and faith.

The purpose of HHSF is to bring the reader, who has little to no understanding of science, into contact with the important scientific issues relating to faith. HHSF contains well-written chapters in question and answer format that a lay-reader would find appealing, leading the reader with ease in discovering the answers to their scientific questions.

The general editors will be drawing on a wide range of expert scholars, as well as their own areas of expertise, in assembling what will be a unique and remarkable popular easy-to-read addition to the subject of science and faith.
